The Lion and the Mouse 2.0: Office Edition

At Savannah Solutions Pvt. Ltd., the Lion was the big boss. He had the corner cabin, the biggest chair, and a roar so loud that even the coffee machine trembled.

One Monday morning, while Lion was reviewing the budget (and yelling at Excel), a tiny Mouse accidentally made his way into his cabin. He was the newest intern, carrying a stack of files taller than himself.

Lion slammed his paw on the desk.
“WHO authorized a mouse in my cabin?”

Mouse squeaked, adjusting his tiny tie:
“Sir… I’m the new intern. HR hired me under the diversity quota.”

Lion glared.
“Useless creature! You’re so small, the stapler has more presence than you. Why shouldn’t I fire you right now?”

Mouse squeaked nervously:
“Sir, don’t. One day, I might save your job!”

Lion burst out laughing so hard he spilled coffee on his tie.
“You? Save my job? That’s like a paperclip saving the printer!”

Two Weeks Later

Lion had a big client presentation. The entire office gathered as he opened the PowerPoint. But disaster struck—
The projector refused to connect. Wi-Fi went down. And the big client was getting restless.

Lion panicked. He tried roaring at the projector. He even rebooted it three times. Nothing worked.

Then, the tiny Mouse stepped forward, holding his USB cable like a sword.
“Move aside, Sir. This is my battlefield.”

In 30 seconds flat, Mouse connected the projector, fixed the Wi-Fi, and even replaced the dead batteries in the remote. The slides came on. The client was impressed. Deal signed.

Everyone clapped.

Lion, embarrassed but grateful, muttered:
“Okay… maybe you’re more useful than a stapler.”

Mouse grinned:
“Told you, Sir. Never underestimate IT support.”

Moral of the Story:

  • Never underestimate the intern. Today they’re fetching coffee; tomorrow they’ll fix the projector, save you, and maybe even take your chair.
  • Big bosses roar the loudest, but when the Wi-Fi goes down, even the king is just another helpless mammal.
  • IT support is the real power in the office. Respect the ones with the passwords—they can make or break your career with a single click.
  • Don’t laugh at small contributions. That “useless” intern who knows how to reset the router is worth more than your MBA during a client meeting.
  • Hierarchy collapses in front of technology. The CEO, the manager, the intern—all bow before the mighty HDMI cable.
  • Always be kind to the mouse in the office. They’re the only ones who know where the extra batteries are kept.

Forget lions—true kings of the office are the ones who know the Wi-Fi password.
